About Us

Located in Ottawa, Ontario, Sea King Shark Fin Seafood Restaurant stands out for its authentic Hong Kong-style dim sum, setting a high standard among Chinese dining experiences in the area. Like many great restaurants, we prioritize the use of the freshest ingredients to ensure every dish is both flavorful and health-conscious.

Our specialty is dim sum — a Cantonese tradition that translates to “touch the heart.” Each dish is freshly prepared under the guidance of our experienced Hong Kong native chef and served in the traditional style using dim sum carts. Favorites among our guests include Har Gau (steamed shrimp dumplings), Fung Zao (phoenix talons), and Siu Mai.

With 4,300 square feet of dining space, Sea King offers a welcoming atmosphere suitable for all occasions. Our main dining area and five private rooms can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests, making us an ideal choice for family gatherings, business events, or casual meals.

We had a private room for 11 of us for dim sum. The place is very popular so when it opened at 11 there was a lineup. Dim sum came in the traditional carts and they came around regularly. All the usual items were good except they did not have baked cha sui bao. We had leftovers.

Amazing! The staff are so kind and knowledgeable about their menu. The food is extraordinary and for the venue, it's exactly what we need. Nice, clean and relaxing. We went there for the second time as a couple. It is officially our go to place for authentic Chinese food. Thanks so much for the delicious food and great great service.

A friend of ours took us there. Five of us shared a lovely dinner. We were tucked away in a smaller room at a table in a corner. It felt quaint and the service was good. We enjoyed it.

Had dinner as a group and it was delicious! People complain about the staff "not smiling", but that is the norm with Chinese restaurants. It's about the food and quick service. The steamed lobster and beef brisket with radish were my favourite dishes!
